The EZCE Touchpanel is more than an HMI and it is also more than just a simple CE Touch Computer. It is a unique combination of both.

It is like having an advanced SCADA with no limitation on number of tags, yet have the capability of Internet browsing, Windows Viewers and at the same time talk to practically all types of PLCs and industrial networks.

The EZCE Touchpanel has Multi-Tasking capability, i.e it can execute more than one application simultaneously. For example, EZCE Touch panels can acquire data from any device with a built-in webserver and data collected from the webserver can be stored or displayed. This same very data can simultaneously be transferred to PLCs through its PLC ports. The data collected can also be sent to the plant server for calculation or for archiving the data for future reference. The information can be shared through Intranet or Internet. With EZCE Touch panels, it is now possible for the operator to send necessary information / file to his management in remote locations, similarly he can recieve the information through Internet. This becomes an easy way of communication for remote location applications. The user can also execute / write their own application in Visual Basic or C++. All / Any one of the above programs can be executed along with the EZ Touch application running on the same unit at the same time.

The application depicted above shows the EZCE Touchpanel acting as a web-client for a remote transducer and also communicating with a PLC simultaneously. This is a paradigm shift in HMIs as well as Touchpanel computers to have this kind of capability in a $499 HMI.
