To Connect EZ Marquee to DL 06 for serial communication follow the following steps in your Direct soft programming software

1. Setup the controller properties for serial communication.


2. Create a string type file to insert ASCII commands. Write out the message using the EZ String Generator software, copy the ASCII string created and paste it into the string file.

3. Setup Ladder Logic and PLC tags. Use the PRINTV function to initiate ASCII command to trigger relevant message. The example below illustrates this.
