The incredible EZPLC can handle 8 Auto-tuned PID Loops for an incredible price of $111 plus analog I/O modules. Also it offers true versatility when it comes to Analog I/O. These modules are available in 4 Analog In/4 Analog Out in either 0-5, 0-10 voltage range or 0-20, 4-20 mA currently range. The ranges can be selected in the field, by DIP switch settings in respective voltage and current modules. This Autotune PID capability at a very low price point, has made the EZPLC an ideal replacement for individual PID loop controllers. For example an eight channel EZPLC loop controller can be configured for just $391 ($111 for base, $99 for 8 input Analog and $19 for 8 Output discrete and $162 for a 2 line EZText display). Considering that an individual setpoint loop controller will cost an average of $150 per unit, this solution is 1/3rd the cost of the discrete solution.
