EZ Multiplexer is a docking station, where you may connect up to five of any combination of EZSeries Text Panels. When you select the multi-panel system in the programming software, you can configure panels to one port each. More than 1 EZSeries Text panel on EZ Multiplexer can communicate to almost all PLC's serial driver which are supported by EZSeries Text Panels.

A write utility is included so you can download changes to one or more panels on the complete system with EZSeries Text Enhanced Software through EZ Multiplexer.

The EZ Multiplexer is unique to the EZSeries Text operator interface family and not available in many other text based HMI's including C-More Micro.

Multiple Panel Requirements:
Hardware
• 1 EZMultiplexer
• Up to five EZSeries Text panels (choose from models EZ-220, EZ- 220L, EZ-420, EZ-220P, EZ-SP, EZ-220V and EZ-220PV)
• 24 Volt DC Power Supply (FA-24PS recommended)
• Programming Cable (P/N EZSeries Text-PGMCBL)
• RS-422 multiplexer to EZSeries Text panel cables, one cable per panel (Belden 9729 or equal)
• EZ-COMCON3 and one EZ-COMCON4 connector for each panel
• RS-232C or RS-422A/485A PLC cable
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

Software
• EZSeries Text Enhanced programming software (EZ-TEXTEDIT, Version 2.0 or later)
