EZ Series panel have one of the best alarm management system of any touchpanel HMIs. The alarms can be triggered from any PLC tag values either in discrete On/Off mode comprising tag values to preset low and high limits created in an alarm database. The alarm database can be imported or exported to Xcel.

The Alarm banner can be programmed to be located anywhere on the screen. Multiple alarm banners can also be designed on the same page. In fact for good alarms management you may want to create a dedicated alarm screen which monitors all alarms.

The EZ Series panels have an alarm history object that when pressed shows which alarms triggered, Alarm count and Alarm details for each occurrence. The Alarm detail shows the cause of the Alarm, tag value, hi-low limits and when it was cleared.

Alarm database can be imported as well as exported to X-cel. Alarm history database can also be exported to X-cel.
